Despoina Varamogianni – Mamatsi participated in the 8th European Bioremediation Conference organized by the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (Crete) and the University of Bologna (Italy), in Chania, Greece between 12 and 17 June 2022. In this assembly, SPINAQUA PhD student had the opportunity to present the recent findings on the cleanup potential of marine sponges against typical aquaculture pollutants (i.e., antibiotics & antifouling agents) to national and international researchers and entrepreneurs working in the field of marine biotechnology.
